C-Walk Interview: Jin187

Hey, fellas, I doubt this guy needs any introduction as most of you know him. But I am sure you are all curious to see what happened and why did he disappear and further more where is he nowadays. Thus go along with my last interview for this site and my final article. Hope you enjoy it, keep supporting the movement!



Jin 187: “I am not back, but i’ve heard a lot of shit about me and I just ask that somebody takes some time, to make an interview with me so we can clear things out.”



Niko: Hello there, Jin, could you introduce yourself for the readers? What is your name, where are you from and when did you start cwalking?
Jin187: Alright, i’m Jin, 21 Years Old, originally comin’ from korea, but i’m livin in Germany (Geislingen) and i started to walk at 2006, but i’ve stop for a long time now.
Niko: Let’s go through some quick questions before we get to the core of the subject. So tell me what made you start cwalking, who motivated you and why did you go for crip walking?
Jin187: My absolute inspiration was iko, he taught me everything about cwalk, and i wanted to do it like him, so i’ve started practising all day, every day.
Niko: Is this why you got so good?
Jin187: Yes, that’s why I got that good at it.
Niko: So you got SA right? What happened after that moment?
Jin187: After I got the Special accsess at thecwalk.com, i felt better, because i knew, thats like a Star at the cwalk scene.
Niko: Was it the trigger that made you start acting so cocky? Germans said you were very arrogant and rude, what was the reason for that?
Jin187: That was my bad, i was young and dumb, but that was their opinion, and i can only say, that they were right with it.
Niko: So what happened afterwards?
Jin187: I’ve started hatin on the german community, because after the site battle, germans started believing that they were the best of them all. But i really repent it.My Opinion is, that they don’t have the “best” walkers out there, everybody got his own style.
Niko: You mean as in you can’t compare 2 different styles?
Jin187: Yes, of course.
Niko: So how do you compare 2 different style walkers?
Jin187: I don’t know how to compare it, somebody walks faster, somebody slower and got more style, but the faster one also got style, because of his fastness..
Niko: Do you think there should be battles between cwalkers?
Jin187: They can battle, it really doesn’t matter, that’s their thing.
Niko: My point is, is it right in your eyes to evaluate 2 walkers and state which one is better or not? Was it a mistake that you battled in the past?
Jin187: I think that’s not right to evaluate 2 walkers because of their “style”. And no it wasn’t a mistake to battle in the past.
Niko: Okay, let’s keep on with the story, so after the germany vs thecwalk battle what happened next?
Jin187: I was very dumb, and started playin’ WoW, i’ve lost many friends and my Real Life, but i’ve stopped it, like one year ago. After that point i started working as a Commercial Assistant, got a new girlfriend and friends. Now i’m livin with my Girlfriend in a House, and i’ve moved on with my life.
And i’m engaged with my girlfriend : – )
Niko: What happened between you and iKo? Why did you separate, I am sure people want to know more about it.
Jin187: I really can’t say why iko and I seperated. But i know that i was very rude with him, i said many things that were not right. I regret it. I’ve lost a very dear friend because of my Bads. But i’ve written him a message on youtube, i’ve told him that i’m sorry about the past. As a response he gave me a second chance, i really appreciate that.
Niko: So you are talking to him again now?
Jin187: Yes, but i don’t have much time to talk to him because of my work and a lot of other things which i have to take care of in my real life. But if there is a chance to catch up with him, i will, because we have many things to chat about. : P
Niko: Was the story about you and your ex-gf true? They said you tried to stab her?
Jin187: I tried to stab someone, but that was not my Ex, it was a Guy who kissed her. And i was very angry about that because he was one of my best friends.
Niko: And why did you leave the cwalk world? Was it because of all the bad rumours?
Jin187: I’ve left the cwalk world, because i wanted to start a new life, without cwalk, without all communities. I really don’t care what people are talkin about me. I just want to stay true and out of all this shit, which i did in my past.
Niko: Is this why you even deleted your youtube account?
Jin187: Yes that was one of the reasons. But i really didn’t know that i’m a legend on youtube.. I haven’t watched any cwalk videos for a long time but yesterday i tried searching “Jin187, Jin Cwalk” and I saw a lot of videos. I saw that i’m an inspiration for many walkers and everybody wants me to comeback. Now i will tell everybody, which i’ve inspired, to get their walk on. Jin is not Dead, he’s only asleep. And i want to thank all the german C-Walkers, they know that i’ve told a lot of shit about the community, but they know that i was a legend, and one of the best on the site.
Niko: Bravo, so after you quitted that cwalk era what did you do? We saw some videos of you joining that hip-hop class or something? They even had a profile of you on their webpage.
Jin187: Yes, i’ve joined a hip hop class, and a friend asked me to make a video at the dance-school. They’ve upped it on their site, without my permission.
Niko: So what happened then? Are you still with them?
Jin187: No I left because they were not friends of mine, because they wanted to c-walk like me, but i’ve told them that it is not all fun and fame. That’s Life!
Then they started being aggresive to me, so i’ve terminated the friendship and quitted the hip hop crew.
Niko: And then what happened next? When was that actually? 2008?
Jin187: It was the end of 2007. What happended next? I’ve got a job as a Commercial Assistant, and got a new Girlfriend. But deep inside of my heart, i will always be the c-walker of 2006. And i’ve never stopped cwalkin, i’ve only stopped dropping videos.
Niko: I can understand that, do you plan on posting a video anytime? For the fans?
Jin187: Yes, but not cwalk videos .. just like a biographic one of my “CARRER ( XD )” as a cwalker. Where i will tell them my story in it…..and >>>MAYBE<<< some old videos of mine.
Niko: But why have you deleted your older videos and don’t plan on uploading any newer ones?
Jin187: I have many reasons for that, i just don’t want to show any videos of me on the internet anymore. I’ve decided it over 2 years ago, people were always talkin’ bout how they don’t walk for fame .. bla bla.. but why did they upload their videos on youtube? To get fame! This is my opinion, no hatin to all those fantastic walkers out there, that is only my opinion.
Niko: How often do you cwalk nowadays?
Jin187: Erm, like half an hour per day ..
Niko: But you still do eh? Everyday? How does your gf respond to that? Does she like it, does she dance too?
Jin187: Every second or third day, because i don’t have any time for it. My Girlfriend accepts it, because cwalk is a part of my life. She doesn’t dance, she’s singing.
Niko: So are you serious you are engaged as in getting married?
Jin187: Yes, we will get married after mine and her education is over. Next year in June.
Niko: Is there anything you think we missed and you’d like to add?
Jin187: I just want to say something to all these people in my Past, and especially to iko:
Iko, i’ve already written it in the mail on youtube. But you are to know, that you will always be one of my best friends. And to the cwalkin communites (.de .com). You can hate me, i don’t care, but you have to know that People can change. I’ve done a lot of shit in the Past Time, but now i’ve grown up. Respect yourself, and think twice, what you guys have said about ME, a lot of things are WRONG!. If you wish to say sorry, no problem i accept and appreciate it. But for the future, to everybody which i’ve inspired to walk – it doesn’t matter if you are german or canadian or american, doesn’t matter if you are black or white, a guy or a girl, Jin is not Dead. Keep walkin, walk with a heart and passion, because that’s what c-walk is standing for.
Don’t hate somebody who’s better than you, nobody is better than you, because you are unique. There’s only one thing to do, to be unique, just BE YOURSELF!
