The GLOBAL CREW Tournament – Round TWO!

Woooooah, what an exciting first round! Some hawt battles (somtimes I had to go grab my water bottle!) . No matter how hot the battles are, there can only be one winner. Before I go on about Round TWO, I’d let to give a big shout out to EVERYONE who participated in this tournament, from the C-Walkers to the Judges, everyone, THANK YOU <3!

Round ONE was a success, with some *cough* mistakes made by me *cough* . Haha, yes, I have to apologize one more time to Cry and Dirty Steps Crew for that mistake. It was just a careless error made by me and only me, no one else to blame, not Revolutionary 13th or Ksnipez, but ME! (Toe) . But thank you guys for understanding and allowing this tournament to run smoothly again.

Global Crew Tournament: ROUND ONE

All the information the crews need to know about Round 1 of The Global Crew Tournament!

Battles:
Brotherhood of Style vs. Crown Kingz
Shadow Striders vs. Phonetic United
Revolutionary 13th vs. Dirty Steps Crew
SoXtremeCru vs. 10th Classic

Rules:
- Due Date: 13th June (7 days from now) – Send RAW videos to contest@cwalkmedia.com
- Videos must NOT be edited in anyway. Only audio/music may be edited. Don’t add your names, we will.
- Minimum of 45 seconds of actual C-Walking.
- No socks/carpet.
- Must be 3/4 – full body view.
- Try to film it somewhere nice

Any rules broken may result in disqualification.

How it Works:
- Each crew picks THREE members to battle, it can be ANY three, as long as they are a REAL crew member, no outside fill ins!
- Each of the members upload their video to zshare, mediafire, etc and then send the link to contest@cwalkmedia.com before the deadlines!
- We will then RANDOMLY pair up each battle to make it fair!
- A crew must also have all three of their videos in before deadline, or the crew is disqualified and a reserve crew will take over for the rest of the tournament.
- It is advised that the top 2 reserve crews also make battles videos just in case anyone pulls out.

We are posting these battle videos on our YouTube channel (www.YouTube.com/CwalkMedia), so please don’t upload these videos on your own channel!

The draws/battles were randomly picked to be fair!

Global Crew Tournament – The EIGHT FINALISTS!

Wow!! What an amazing response to our Global Crew Tournament. I know you are all eager to see who the eight crews are, so I’ll get straight to the point!

With a total number of 25 crew application, choosing the best 8 was quite a difficult task. However, we, the CwalkMedia.com staff have finalized the list and in our eyes are the best 8 out of the 25 crews that applied.

Before the top eight is announced, I would just like to thank ALL the crews that applied, and even if you weren’t picked, don’t be discouraged, keep training and you’ll get better .

You guys will be here incase a crew does not upload a video within the given deadline and instead of disqualifying them, a reserve crew will come in the tournament and replace that crew.

This is listed in priorty, so currently Pimp Steppin’ Army will be asked first if a crew drops out, if they decline or are unable to participate we will go to the next “reserve” crew.

Now, if your crew isn’t in the 8 or the reserve list, please don’t rage at us. We did our best to choose what we think is the best eight.

CwalkMedia.com Presents: GLOBAL CREW TOURNAMENT

CwalkMedia.com is back and we’re kicking things off with the world’s first ever GLOBAL CREW TOURNAMENT! This tournament will identify the best C-Walk crew in the world. Does YOUR crew have what it takes?

Read below for registration details and rules.

How it works:
- We will only be accepting 8 crews, which means if we get more than 8 crew entries, we will only pick the best 8.
- This can be ANY crew, real life or internet.
- Each crew can only enter 3 members each round, as the battles will be 3 vs 3. Crown, Crip, Clown, all styles are acceptable. Each round you can use 3 different members if you wish.
- 5 judges will judge each battle.
- There is a prize for the winner, but that will be kept secret, we guarantee you it’s a good prize!
- Registration closes on the 30th May 2010, tournament starts on June 3rd!

Rules:
- Each battle video will only be 45 seconds, rather than 1 minute. This will hopefully make the battles more exciting.
- A Cwalker can only represent ONE crew.
- Has to be a REAL crew, cannot make up a crew just for this tournament.
- Video needs to be 3/4 – full body view, not legs only.
- Each crew needs to submit their videos before the deadline or they will suffer a forfeit loss for that battle.
- Due dates will usually be 1-2 weeks, more than enough time to record a video.

If somebody is wondering, there are 2 preround battles for the girls who signed in after the deathline has passed and are already informed. They will have to drop the vid on the 14th.
So the battles will be startin on the 15th.
We organized it like that, that the FIRST (exept owssum) half will be sendin the vid in by the 15th. that would the first 8 brackets. That means that the bracket with Lady Mixsta will drop the vids a week later on the 22th so the preround girls have still enough time to make another vid.

Ladies Tournament: THE INFOS

Now, the time to check-in has passed. In the end, we have 33 Participants. The tournament will begin on the 15th of July and 5 days of judging will be held before the next brackets will be announced.
The tournament brackets will be published in the next 3-4 days. So all in all you have now over 2 weeks to keep practising and drop a vid.

I will now give you the oppurtunity to still check in the 3 days or tell me that you check-out with a reason. You can either email me on shezzo@cwalkmedia.com or simple drop a comment below.
