A New Community: Future Cwalkers

I’d like to introduce Future Cwalkers, it is a fairly new cwalking community and by the looks of it also tightly knit. The site creator, DARE, has put a lot of effort in making this community feel like home, with dedicated members and contributors.

For those interested, Future Cwalkers offers ranks, videos, tutorials, a general dance and cwalk showcase area, battling and much more. With just under 400 members this forum has rapidly progressed in a short amount of time. They are currently holding their first ever community tournament for cwalkers to showcase their talent.

RNB Stylez

RNBStylez is a fresh new music community just lifting off from its feet. It is set in a forum website style so that users can post new topics, reply to others, share videos & music or just talk about everyday things. It is less than a week old and already gaining about 10 members a day, which is not a lot. But who can blame an unknown site that no body knows about. Official USA Community

Wassup CwalkMedia, I have the pleasure of introducing the newest Cwalking Community, USCWalk.com the community for all United States Cwalkers. Our goal isn’t to steal walkers from other communities, but more so that there’s a place for information about Cwalk Meet-ups and Mixtapes within the United States. To help give those who are active something to do, there will be a leader board for all battles on the website meaning, everyone’s win – loss record will be officially recorded and posted. We are also introducing an all new battle system to make cwalk battle judging easier and more fun then previous years. Furthmore, once we have enough regular battlers, there will be seeded tournaments that will take place 3-4 times a year. So, if you have a better battle record before the next tournament, you should have easier opponent. We also have many other ideas we’re looking to go through with once we get more members; setting up regional meets/tournaments and hopefully national meets/tournaments. We also have a goal to send some walkers from the USA to the next International Cwalking tournament to represent the USA!
Also, we’re calling out anyone that is interested in helping out with the community. Some positions we’re looking for are Graphic Artists, Video Editors, and Moderators. Any sort of help would be awesome in helping our community grow.

Global Cwalkerz: Back?

Well As you know GlobalCwalkers is Back with 3 new Root Administrators
Basically they are on a Journey to Rise to the Top.
So Far its going Well only 16 days Since it came back with over 200 Members Joining.
The Members are pretty Active over 8000 post had been made since people started joining.

and eventually got 130-150 members, when the offical GlobalCwalkers.net came along the
number of members multiplied and people are Still Joining today.
As for the Staffs and High Ranked Members(Certified,Shadowed) They are doing good and active.
The Staff Applications Stay Opened 365 days so you can apply if you like.
The Administrators and Moderators will Help you around if you are having trouble.

When 2 admins from different C-Walk forums unite…..

Jookin (often referred to as Memphis Buckin, or Choppin etc) a new dance that growing popular daily. Originating from Memphis it has been around for over 20 years. It is commonly performed to crunk and down south music due to the particular ‘bounce’ in the beat & the movement the dancers make to keep with it flowing.
Along with being a popular street dance, Jookin is often viewed as a form of self expression
and some even have speculated that the dance was originally created during the late 1970s.

After many years of organizing cwalk communities iKo (founder of CWD) and Arsen ( Root Admin of TCW) who were fascinated by this dance, decided to create a jooking community to provide an understanding about the dance that has been around for many years without getting the attention it really deserves.

Mr. Swoop (iko) is caring out the technical side of the website and Mr. Hozer (Arsen)did the designs and other media work.
Both already had the opportunity to lead successful forums for years now and were confident
that this community is about to be even more successful than
Cwalk communities ever have been.

The reason they made UJN is to unite Jookers worldwide and create a
community where they can come together, help each other,
communicate, post videos and celebrate that extraordinary and sophisticated dance.
UJN also wants to provide an understanding where Jookin comes from, the history and the scene.

UJN has received a lot of support from the jooking world including famous Jookers like Rico, Shonte and also the man behind the movement Young Jai and many others are supporting some have even joined UJN a few days ago.

Cwalk UK

Ok, here we go. It all started back in 2008. The idea came along. Other country’s had their own cwalk communitys.
But not us, the good ol’ UK. So then the idea came. Lets open a UK only cwalk website.

It pretty much went from there, the owner of the community is Tandy_Cwalk, whos got help running the site from AlphaKidd (who acts as a co admin!).
It officially came online on 2nd March 2009, yet its still a small community the members will soon pour in!

We currently organising a Mixtape to help advertise the site and make the site a better place for UK walkers
Meetups and other special events or being organised to bring the community closer together!

Welcome Portugal!

On the 11th of January 2008 a new community appeared, C-Walk Portugal, www.cwalkpt.com, created by Miguel with a little help from Pedro, also known as Grufalão aka Grufa and Game265 respectively.

At the beginning was really hard to keep the site appealing and active, because hardly anyone knows Cwalk out here. That problem is still true as for today’s standards. Then, there are always those retarded people that immediately associate Cwalk to the Crips gang. Most of the times they don’t even know that there are such things as Crown or Clown walking. We must be, without a doubt, one of the smallest Cwalk communities in all Europe. If there were 30 people in Portugal that practiced Cwalk for more than 30 minutes, it would be by a long, long shot. By the beginning of 2006, the first Portuguese walkers started to appear. The first generation walkers couldn’t deal very well with the new kids on the block (2007 generation) and beefs started to happen. In order to stay united, we released the first official mixtape, even if against all odds. Very few of us stayed true to Portuguese Cwalk, but that’s how you find committed people.
